Florian Palier   (Klagenfurt / Graz)
Studied with Álvaro Pierri at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, graduating with honors. He served as a long-time assistant to A. Pierri. He is the winner of numerous 1st prizes at national and international guitar competitions.

Konzerte, Rundfunk- und TV-Aufnahmen führten ihn in viele Länder Europas, nach Japan, Russland und die USA. Er nahm für Institutionen wie etwa die BBC, den ORF und Classic FM auf.
As a composer of solo guitar literature and chamber music, he is highly sought after.
Current CDs include "Nostalgia," "Poetry and Colours," "Bach und Ich" (solo), and "Zeit Portrait" (duo with Melanie Hosp).

He leads a guitar class at the Gustav Mahler University of Music in Klagenfurt and together with his colleague Helmut Weinhandl he organizes the GMPU Guitar Days Klagenfurt.
