Omán Kaminsky

Omán Kaminsky is one of the world's leading guitarists of his generation. After completing the guitar-studies in Mexico (Bachelor's degree with highest honors), he earned a Master's degree in guitar in The Hague under Zoran Dukic and in early music under Ton Koopman. There he received the prestigious HSP Huygens Scholarship from the Dutch government, awarded only to the most outstanding students. He has won over 20 first prizes and numerous other prizes at international guitar competitions. He frequently is a guest lecturer and member of juries at international competitions. He performed at concerts (including prestigous places for example at Carnegie Hall, New York, and the Concertgebouw Amsterdam) and gives masterclasses worldwide. In his concert in Seckau he will perform on both the Baroque guitar and a modern instrument.

Rubén
Parejo

Rubén Parejo is Professor of Guitar at the Joaquín Rodrigo Conservatory of Music and a member of the Royal Academy in Valencia, Artistic Director of the “Luys Milán” and the Gandía Guitar Festival. He has received awards at international competitions and is a guest professor in the USA, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Israel, Japan, Thailand, and most European countries, also performing as a solo concert artist in all of them. He is an outstanding and authentic interpreter of the music of Joaquin Rodrigo. He assimilates the traditions of the Segovia and Sainz de la Maza schools and also of the Tárrega school.

Shih-yu
Liu

Shih-yu Liu obtained his Master’s degree from the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester. In 1993, Shih-yu Liu entered the National Taiwan University of Arts(NTUA) with the best entry exam results, majoring in classical guitar. In 1997, Shih-yu graduated first in his class, and in 1999 received a scholarship to enter the Eastman School of Music. After completing his studies in the USA, Shih-yu returned to Taiwan and became the music director of the Genesis Guitar Chamber Orchestra in 2002. In addition to recitals and ensembles, Shih-yu presents the radio program “Sound of The Guitar,” which was nominated in "49th Taiwan National Radio Award(Golden Bell Award)" in 2014. Shih-yu was invited to play for many guitar festivals over the world, and currently teaches at the National Taiwan University of Arts, and is also the artistic director of “Taiwan International Guitar Festival & Competition” since 2012.

Anna
Lesjak

Anna Lesjak studied classical guitar (concert guitar and pedagigical studies) at the state university of music in Vienna (mdw) in the class of Álvaro Pierri - both studies she mastered with distinction. She took prizes at many national and international guitar competitions. For repeated times she achieved scholarships for extra results. Being a versatile musician she regularly gives concerts at home and abroad, with guitar solo and with chamber music, for example at Vienna Konzerthaus, Musikverein, Theater an der Wien a.o. She is teaching at J. S. Bach music-school and at the centre of Musikvermittlung 14 in Vienna.

Ayako
Kaisho

Ayako Kaisho was born in Osaka, Japan. After early guitar lessons there she moved to Vienna in 2014 to study with Alvaro Pierri at the University of Music and Performing Arts, graduating with a Master's degree in 2022. She is currently continuing her studies in pedagogy at the same university. Since 2014 she is a member of the Viennese guitar quintet "Gitarrissima," performing in Austria and Great Britain. In addition to her solo work, she regularly makes music with other instruments and vocalists to complement her guitar playing.

Florian
Palier

(Klagenfurt / Wien) studied with Álvaro Pierri at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, graduating with honors. He served as a long-time assistant to A. Pierri. He is the winner of numerous 1st prizes at national and international guitar competitions. Concerts and TV- recordings (BBC, ORF, Classic FM a.o.) took him to many countries in Eueope, Japan, Russia, USA. As a composer of solo guitar literature and chamber music, he is highly sought after. Current CDs include "Nostalgia," "Poetry and Colours," "Bach und Ich" (solo), and "Zeit Portrait" (duo with Melanie Hosp). González

Hugo Fernando González (Austria/Venezuela) studied guitar and composition in Venezuela and Austria (with L. Witoszynskyj). He has attended masterclasses with M. Barrueco, A. Pierri, A. Díaz, among others. He has made radio and television recordings and performed concerts in many countries. Palier

Johannn Palier studied classical guitar at the Musikhochschule Graz. Laureate of the International Guitar Contest in Volos (Greece). He has retired from his teaching at the J.J.Fux Conservatory in Graz, many students have come in 1st prizes and good results at competitions. Success with popular music: „Opus“, „White Stars“ (records in gold and platinum status). 9 CDs with solo guitar and chamber music. Last CD: “Violarra - Saitenspiel” Lecturer and jury member at international guitar festivals in Austria and abroad.
